At ISK the grades for subjects depend upon the results of tests, projects and both in-class and take home assignments. For this reason it is essential that students maintain an excellent attendance record. If a student is absent for nay reason they are expected to make up the work upon return to the class. Incomplete is graded as an “F” and can seriously affect grade. It is therefore essential that student consult with the teacher/s upon returning to class.
In the event of a foreseen absence (such as a need to be out of the country) parents are asked to notify the school/teachers in advance and preferably at least one week in advance. In most cases the teacher will provide work to be done while the student is away. In cases of unforeseen circumstances, please expect a student will need to provide
extra work time in order to make up the assignments missed. Arrangements for this are done with the teacher.
